Ashar African Market, a grocery store specializing in African groceries, is opening in Urbana at 501 N. Cunningham Avenue. Check out their Facebook post here.
Their Facebook page is linked above, and they’ll be hosting a ribbon cutting this Friday, December 22nd at 11 a.m. While I’m not certain to whether the store is currently open or not, the dates read 18th-23rd, below, so it is possible. We’re waiting word back from the store, and will udpate when we get that information.
