The Art Theater has pushed up the date for its transition of ownership to the Art Theater Co-op to August. As of June 7, over 850 people have invested over $80,000. Their new goal is to reach $100,000 by July 31.
The lease negotiations committee is also working with the landlord of the Art Theater building and has discussed the options available for leasing the building as a co-op. According to the recent co-op newsletter, the co-op is also looking into other building spaces as they are “exploring options for the future, with [their] mission as [their] guide.”
