Urbana Park District has stepped up their environmentally-friendly practices by installing solar power at Anita Purves Nature Center. They will also be turning this new development into a learning experience, as there will be a solar monitoring station there where visitors can see how the sun is powering the building.
Installation is happening this week, then visitors are invited to come learn more about it.
