2014 Boneyard Arts Festival Signature Image Call for Entries

40 North | 88 West Announces Call for Entries for 2014 Boneyard Arts Festival Signature Image

Champaign County — 40 North | 88 West — Champaign County Arts Council — invites local artists to submit work to be considered for the official signature image of the 2014 Boneyard Arts Festival. All submitted images will be juried by a panel of local arts professionals. To enter, artists should submit a completed entry form and up to three digital images of original work by Wednesday, January 15, 2014.

The Boneyard Arts Festival official signature image will be featured on all festival registration materials, posters, postcards, billboards, print and online advertising, and on the cover of the News-Gazette Boneyard Arts Festival Map — the event’s official guide that is distributed to 100+ festival venues and 40,000 homes throughout Champaign County. The winning work will be announced no later than January 31, 2014.

In submitting artwork for consideration as the festival’s signature image, artists grant permission to 40 North to use the work on various promotional pieces. In submitting work to this contest, artists should also understand that a detail or section of the winning piece may ultimately be used as the signature image for the Boneyard Arts Festival. 40 North will work with the artist to ensure the integrity of the piece is respected while also developing effective marketing that features the image.
