This past weekend was hell on wheels for concerts. With great acts around the area at the Moultrie Douglas County Fair, The Feudin Hillbillies playing the Fisher Fair, and Chris Janson over at The City Center and the Pitchfork Music Festival just north in Chicago, there was plenty to choose from and Saturday’s show at The Accord was just as solid. Fresh off the release of their EP Live at Work released this Spring, ZXO brought their own brand of interstellar OJ just as sweet and tangy as ever. Joined by indie-folk songwriter Abbi Rajasekhar and last minute addition We the Animals (filling in for We are the Willows who ran into tour van issues) the show was an eclectic mix of tunes.
