Nightshop in Bloomington is starting out the week strong with this packed Tuesday-night show. Chicago’s Grün Wasser is coming down, bringing their brand of experimental electronic music. One of Champaign’s newest members to arrive on the scene (though the members are by no means rookies), LLYN, will be playing as well. If EDM and all the sounds that came after is your wheelhouse, this is an early-week, must-attend show.

Urbana’s Pattern Recognition Records—a DIY label focusing on the extreme and experimental—is hosting this underground show (follow the event link to get details about how to get to “Dexter’s Lab”). Philadelphia’s Binary will be one of a few –core bands playing this show. All the other artists are local. The fee is an $8 suggested donation, but the event also has a pay-what-you-can option as long you’re not a bigot, a cop, or any type of phobe. Do with that what you will.
