The Overture: February 26-March 4

WHERE: The Iron Post (cover)

WHEN: Monday, February 26th at 7 p.m.

Marcus Tenney, Morgan Burrs, Corey Fonville, Andrew Randazzo, and DJ Harrison — those are the members that make up Butcher Brown. Jazz garage punk funk are words I’ve seen thrown around about these guys. Pressure Fit is the project by Reggie Chapman, this should be a fun one for a Monday night.

This is a highlight of the week in Urbana — UK outfit Yndi Halda is a mix of math rock and hazy ambient/post rock, so this, plus Staghorn (a band whose members now all live in C-U), and the always-good psych outfit ZXO — you’re gonna have yourself a good one here.
