So, while you’re still finishing up kicking yourself for missing The Gin Blossoms at the Taste of Champaign last weekend (and you really did miss out, they said it was their best show all year), don’t forget that Urbana’s Sweetcorn Festival is this weekend and featuring a killer lineup of bands. The Psychedelic Furs, The Church, and Berlin are some of the big headlining bands, but the local lineup is impressive too. Plus, it’s free and there’s corn.

Baltimore’s Multicult headline this gig at the HighDive, but the first time I saw them they opened up for Roomrunner at Error Records and killed it. They bring noise to typical angular post-punk stylings. Add chaotic math rockers Gnargoyle from Nashville and you’ve already got a great show, not to mention two more bands.
