Forming as a band less than a year ago, Abnormous has burst onto the local C-U music scene with its raw grit of electric dance rock with the sweet bounce of R&B flow funk. Building steam from show to show, Abnormous’s tight rhythms and expansive harmonies explode into a high energy experience. As a Smile Politely videographer, I was able to take this video that gives us all a taste of Abnormous’ funk rock sound, as well as introduce everyone to each of the band’s seven accomplished musicians who make up Abnormous dynamic showmanship and musicianship.
