This is your last chance to shop The Idea Store’s biannual jewelry sale, Jewelry Jackpot. The sale will run through Sunday. No ticket necessary, but they are limiting the space to eight shoppers at a time so you may need to wait in a small line. They have a wide range of items, most of it very inexpensive. You’ll also find some special fine jewelry pieces. Check out our sneak peak to learn all about the sale. (JM)
Learn to make tamales, Zoom with IAS Library, 2 p.m., free
Join Chef Sandra Juanita Gutierrez as she makes tamales live on The International Cooking Show. The live cooking show is hosted by The International and Area Studies Library on Zoom. Hear some exciting indie music, Rose Bowl Tavern, 9 p.m., $10 adv, $15 door
OTNES brings a perfect blend of pop and indie rock to Rose Bowl for a hometown show. Joining them are psych folk rockers Primitive Lights and rock band The Tomblands. OTNES also just put out a cover of “Go the Distance” from Hercules, and was featured as a part of Disney’s “Reimagine Tomorrow,” which aims to amplify underrepresented voices. (SW)

Shop the Craft League of Champaign-Urbana Annual Art Fair, Savoy Rec Center, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., free entry
Celebrating its 39th year, the CLCU fair showcases work by the local artists and makers working in basketry, ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, and woodworking. The above rings by Beverly Fagan would make a great holiday gift, or better yet, a well-deserved gift to self. Also open on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (DD)
Do some yoga in a bar, then drink a beer, Collective Pour, 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., $20 (tickets here)
Katie Legner will lead you through an hour-long yoga session for all levels, so if you’re a yoga newbie, that’s okay. Bring a good attitude, a yoga mat, and any other props you want or might need. The ticket includes one beer for after class. (JH)

This week, Caitlin A. reviewed the wine bar and bottle shop Ladro Enoteca. She liked Ladro Enoteca’s summer sausage, grainy mustard, and pickles sharable bite, and she loved the burrata, too. At Ladro Enoteca, sip on wine by the glass, the fantastic rotating G+T, or a cold beer as you enjoy sharable snacks. (AB)

Hear some gorgeous piano playing, Krannert Center, 7:30 p.m., $40
The always wonderful Sinfonia da Camera will be performing Rimsky-Korsakov, Walker, and Dvořák, with acclaimed pianist Rochelle Sennett joining the group. She’ll be performing a piece from George Walker, celebrating the late African-American Pulitzer Prize winning composer’s 100th birthday. Walker was the first Black recipient of a Pulitzer Prize in music. (SW)

As a part of their Spurlock Sunday initiative and in conjunction with the E2E2Re Eco-Culture-Arts Projects, this event (and the following two) will focus on the art of paper repurposing. Handmade recycled holiday gifts anyone? (DD)
Take the kids to a WILL party, Campbell Hall, 2 to 4 p.m., free
WILL-TV has been celebrating their 100th anniversary all year, and now they are extending the invitation to the kiddos. Their afternoon celebration is best suited for kids 3-10, and there will be interactive activities, goodie bags, a movie, and treats. Space is limited so reserve your spot now. (JM)

Make your Thanksgiving day plans, your house, all weekend, prices vary
Do you have plans in place for Thanksgiving (if you celebrate)? Have you ordered your turkey? Do you need to order desserts? What about bread and booze? Do you have COVID tests to take before getting together with a large group, or to give to that family member who insists that it’s “just allergies”? Now’s the time to figure it out. (JH)
