All About A Cappella

Four of the University of Illinois’ premier a cappella groups and the Lincoln’s Challenge Choir will perform. Relying simply on the versatility and flexibility of their voices, the groups perform without the help of instruments. (AR)

42% of those served by emergency food are children.

Please help the NAACP & The Champaign Mayor’s Office put a dent in hunger in our community by collecting a bag, or multiple bags, stuffed with the following items:

  • Mac-N-Cheese
  • Cereal (Cheerios)
  • Rice
  • Beans
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned Veggies
  • Spaghetti
  • Spaghetti Sauce
  • Peanut Butter
  • Break
  • Soup
  • Jell-o
  • Good Snack (fruit snacks, etc)

Into to DSLR Filmmaking (CU Film Society) 

Time: 1:00 p.m.

Location: M2 Building, 301 N. Neil St., Champaign

Photographer Scott Regan will teach the CU Film Society’s first workshop on DSLR Camera and Video Fundamentals. In the 3-hour class, Regan will teach the basics of using a DSLR as a filmmaking tool, going through the basics of video, photography techniques and utilizing and handling your digital SLR camera.
