This Friday, gather friends and order the chicken flautas at Seven Saints to share. The platter has flour tortillas filled with grilled chicken, cheese, and a black bean and corn salsa, then fried and topped with mango salsa and sour cream drizzle. Shop a pop-up art event, The Recreation Club, 4 to 8 p.m., free to attend
This Friday stop by The Rec Club for a pop-event featuring FunAfraid, Conscious Curation Co., Zombie666, and more. Caricature artist Dan Wild will be hand to capture his vision of you. The pop-up will also run on Saturday, from 2 to 6 p.m. (DD)

Try a breakfast bagel sandwich at the market, Watson’s truck, 7 a.m. to noon, $8
Watson’s bagel sandwich is a great breakfast. The food truck will be parked at the Urbana Market at the Square this Saturday serving the special market menu. This breakfast sandwich had bacon, egg, and cheese on a perfectly chewy and deliciously fresh bagel. The cheese was melty, and the egg was cooked perfectly. (AB)
Do some yoga in the park, Meadowbrook Park, 9 to 10 a.m., free
Yoga in the Park is back this summer. I’ve been to this a few times, and it’s a great way to start your Saturday. You can wake up your muscles, find a some inner peace, and then take Alyssa’s suggestion and grab a bagel sandwich at the market. (JM)

Catch a comedy show as you enjoy Baldarotta’s sandwich, Baldarotta’s, dinner from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; show begins at 8:30 p.m., $30
Champaign-Urbana Comedy has organized this showcase of comedians. Your ticket includes dinner from Baldarotta’s (any hot sandwich and side). It’s National Ice Cream Day, so go eat ice cream. Based on your feedback, you, dear readers, love Jarling’s and El Oasis. Do remember that Suzu’s has soft serve; Red Bicycle ice cream is now available at Ye Olde Donuts (and at Common Ground and Harvest Market). I love an old school Dairy Queen vanilla dip cone. Don’t forget Sidney Dairy Barn and Dewey’s Drive In for destination ice cream. (JH)

Grad students in Molecular and Cellular Biology are sharing their work and expertise through Science on Tap. This month, Camilo Jaramillo-Correa will be presenting The Unforgiving Sun: A Space Dust Odyssey, about the effects of radiation on the surfaces of asteroids.
