Look UP is a discussion group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and queer individuals where we provide a safe environment to meet people, hang out, and discuss these two ideas and how they can and do coexist. Our goal is to bring together people from the LGBTQ community that have shared experiences, and allow them the freedom to explore these subjects in a respectful, peer-mediated setting.

WHAT: Shape UP: Fitness Cycling Group

The UP Center’s LGBT Youth Support Group will be meeting at their regularly scheduled time to create a piece of artwork for Pride (August 20th).
All middle and high school youth are invited to attend and participate in this art project, whether they’ve been to the group or not.

Interdisciplinary introduction to the field of queer studies. Traces the history of sexuality and sexual identities, reviews key concepts and debates guiding queer studies, and evaluates how they facilitate understandings of the social and cultural dimensions of sexuality.
