Electric Bitters are one of the bands that performed at Saturday night’s benefit show, and they dropped by to share information about the tremendous charity work that the Daily Bread Soup Kitchen provides (which, it turns out, is more than just a meal). They brought in a track from their forthcoming debut CD, which will be released later this month (with its own release party/concert/shindig at Mike ‘n’ Molly’s), and we got to talk about how the band came together and what you can expect from their upcoming disc. Bookmark their Bandcamp page and keep your eyes peeled for when the full-length album hits there as well.
If you weren’t able to make it out to the benefit show, follow the link above to the Daily Bread Soup Kitchen’s website for information on how you can contribute or volunteer, and read more about how real the issue of hunger is in our community in Anna Barnes’ article on our site.
