On Sunday, we announced our second annual March Madness tournament, Icons of C-U. We wanted to still celebrate all of the amazing things in our community by way of this virtual tournament, and we asked our readers what they thought of when it came to Champaign-Urbana and the community at-large. So, here we are with our round before the first round, which is a set of play-in games which you can vote on below.
We discussed this last year, but it is worth mentioning again: This is supposed to be quirky and fun, meant to amuse and frustrate. This is supposed to be weird; that makes it fun. Please do not get upset if something you think is iconic is not in the field of 68. We are all in this together, celebrating what makes C-U a memorable place.
