Coming off of a 3-0 sweep of Northwestern last Wednesday, the ladies seemed to be poised to deliver the same result against Michigan. Quickly taking the first two sets, the Illini set the table for another quick victory only to find a refocused Michigan returning to the court after the second set break. Tied after four sets, Illinois and Michigan seemingly traded points until the Fighting Illini ultimately tipped the scales and defeated Michigan in the fifth and deciding set by a score of 17-15.

Paralympic Gold Medal winner and Champaign Native Nichole Millage is recognized between sets.
The team travels north next weekend to battle Michigan State on Friday, and they will face off again with the Wolverines next Saturday in Ann Arbor.
