On Sunday the University of Illinois women’s soccer team played their final spring game of the year as they hosted University of Wisconsin at Illinois Soccer Stadium. The atmosphere was much less that of a friendly spring game than that of an important mid-season conference game. The teams were focused, the play was physical and emotions ran high throughout. The Illini controlled play for the majority of the game and walked away from the contest with a 2-1 victory.
