Monday evening, Parkland student entrepreneurs presented business projects they’ve been developing to a panel of judges, with $3000 of seed money at stake for the winner. The students, from all areas of study, have spent the spring semester working in the CobraVenture cohort with local business mentors to refine their concepts into full-fledged business plans through weekly workshops facilited by Entrepreneurship Facilitator Marc Chagnon. After each 5-minute pitch, the student presenters were asked follow-up questions from the judges, who ulimately named the “Student Entrepreneur of the Year.” Check out the video below to see who won the first inaugral Cobraventure pitch showcase.
