This year’s Ebertfest took place between Wednesday, April 15th, and Sunday, April 19th. In addition to the 13 films that were screened, four panels were held in the Illini Union covering stigma in the arts, storytelling, criticism, and filmmaking in the digital age. Jason Segel was in attendance and made several appearances around Champaign-Urbana, as did several other notable visitors, including directors and performers. Food was provided to attendees by the Hendrick House and a Steak-N-Shake truck.
Ebertfest is a true gem—not only this community but as one of the best and most revered film festivals in existence. Check out some shots from the week and weekend below.
