Come out to the Iron Post on Sunday, April 26 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. for four bands for five bucks. Paul will have the grill going as usual. All this fun will help raise funds for the first annual CU Folk and Roots Festival on September 25–26 in downtown Urbana. This festival will focus on participatory events like jams, workshops, dances, as well as giving local folk organizations and artists the opportunity to showcase their activities and talents.
UPDATE: The bands will be: Bruiser and the Virtues, Big Grove Zydeco and the Prairie Dogs, plus a surprise or two!
Visit the festival webpage at www.cufolkandroots.org for more info.
