Habitat for Humanity’s 3rd annual doghouse building event is expanding this year to include cat abodes. Teams that sign up to compete can choose either a dog or cat house to build for the competition, which is a fundraiser for the organization. After the build, community members can bid on the finished houses.
Team registration is open now through September 17th, and teams can choose from two different levels of building challenge: Old Dogs and Young Pups. Old Dogs is for teams that have building experience. They can free build and design as they wish. Young Pups will be given precut materials and instructions to build, then get creative with decorating. The team entry fee $200.
Check out Habitat’s website for more information and instructions on how to register.
