In the past few months, the lot between Huff Hall and the Art & Design Building on campus has experienced a flurry of activity as crews work towards the completion of the Siebel Center for Design. Construction on the new building reached a milestone on Thursday when the Ironworkers Local Union fixed the final steel beam to the skeletal structure, known as “Topping out”. The center is expected to be completed in Spring 2020 and will house innovative technology spaces and will promote multidisciplinary collaboration across campus.
