Halloween may be about pumpkin carving, apple cider, and candy, but it also speaks to our fears and the desire to be scared. No place in central Illinois does that better than Baldwin Asylum in Rantoul. The 10,000 square foot setup is so complex, it is left up all year in a shared building with Taylor studios. We spoke with owner Marc Dams to see how his love for horror manifested itself into one of the largest haunts in central Illinois and a staple of any well-rounded Halloween.
