Did you know that you can earn a certificate from the College of ACES without being an undergraduate or graduate student? The college offers several undergraduate and graduate level certificates that can be completed over the course of two semesters. Some students may take advantage of the opportunity to hone specific skills before entering the workforce, but the coursework is open to anyone, and can help professionals and entrepreneuers build knowledge to further their career paths.
Undergrad level certificates have no prerequisites of coursework or experience, and include topics like Sustainibility and Justice in Food and Environmental Systems; Animal Services, Sheltering, and Advocacy, and Cannabis Production and Management.
Grad level certificates are designed for on campus students or off campus professionals looking for post-bachelor’s degree education and professional development, with offerings like Companion Animal Nutrition, Horticulture Professional Development, and Urban Agriculture.
There are online and in-person options. You can learn more about certificate programs here.
