Sometimes it’s fun to have a fancy dinner, and this slow-roasted prime rib is a decadent meal for a special occasion. Hamilton Walker’s prime rib is a whopping 12 ounces, served rare or medium rare with a side of au jus and a cup of creamed horseradish. I ordered mine rare, and it was unbelievably delicious.
The thick cut had a fatty marble that melted into the tender meat, and the rendered fat elevated the steak’s flavor. Bites of prime rib dipped in the au jus were amazing. It was certainly an expensive menu option at $44, but the lavish dinner tasted so wonderful that I think it was worth the splurge. Especially with the swanky ambiance, Hamilton Walker’s is a good restaurant for an upscale meal.
The steakhouse offers this prime rib only on the weekends: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with limited availability. Hamilton Walker’s has full dinner menu and a great kids menu, too.
