The Filipino-Cambodian restaurant A Taste of Both Worlds now offers boodle fights. What is a boodle fight? I learned what it was from this Facebook post by the Broadway Food Hall restaurant.
The boodle fight features a communal meal with lots of food spread across a table. The owner of A Taste of Both Worlds wrote, “This is one of the part of the Philippines I miss the most…I remember when my dad worked at a sugarcane farm being in charged of the watering system, and we would pretty much have an outdoor cook out everyday. We would lay out banana leaves for plates and make our own stove and fire from the ground.”
Now we can experience this cool pop up Filipino dining experience here in C-U. The restaurant offers a variety of menu items for the table, and the staff will arrange the spread on a table at your home or private location. Prices are per person with a ten person minimum and vary based on the foods included. The restaurant needs one week notice for boodle fight orders. Everything on the current menu at A Taste of Both Worlds is available for your boodle fight spread, and the restaurant will even take special requests for other dishes or other meat and seafood like crab, lobster, or oysters. To book, message the restaurant on Facebook or call 217-215-0880.
