Now that Halloween is over, what do you do with your pumpkins? If they haven’t already been decimated by squirrels, as mine have, the Landscape Recycling Center has a fun solution for you.
This Saturday, November 5th, bring them over to the LRC at 1210 E University Avenue and smash them in the food scrap compost pile. Your pumpkins are taken care of in a sustainable way, and it’ll probably be a little cathartic as well.
The smash event is happening from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and it’s free.
