Broadway Backwards bends gender and supports local theatre

This Sunday night you can enjoy gender-bending performances while helping raise much needed support for local theatre and for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Broadway Backwards flips the script and allows men to sign songs originally written for women and vice versa. The cast includes Isaella Dallas, Jake Fava, Sam Gegg, Melissa Goldman, Cody Jacobs, Chrissy Mauck, Jess Shlipf, Alicia Schneider, Kimmy Schofield, Meghanne Thomas, Dylan Tiger, Kevin Wickart and Nicholas Wilson. Directed by Kevin Paul Wickart, with music direction from Kat Downs, Broadway Backwards promises to be a night of “fun, frivolity and emotional songs.” So bring the Kleenex, and some cash to spend at the silent auction.
