Sakanaya is extending their hours a bit for U of I graduation weekend

To better accomodate the influx of friends and family and their graduating students next weekend, Sakanaya will be open for some extra hours for all of your sushi and ramen eating needs. Friday and Saturday they will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. as usual, then will re-open at 4 p.m., an hour earlier, and will remain open until 12 a.m. They will be also be open on Sunday, May 12th, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Keep in mind that Sakanaya does not take reservations, so regardless of when you go, you may want to prepare for a wait. If that works for your plans, the waiting is always well worth it.

If you are willing to venture off campus, and maybe have a bigger group, keep their sister restaurant Miga in mind, as they are taking reservations and will be open on Sunday as well.
