Astronomy Illinois will be hosting a free 2-day summer camp for girls entering grades 10-12. It will focus on hands-on projects including building a Lego Mars Rover and working with Hubble data in the computer lab.
The camp is happening July 22nd and 23rd from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and space is limited to 25 students. Participants will be selected based on a 300 word essay describing why they would like to attend.
The deadline to apply is June 1st, and you can do that here.
