Date: Thursday, Feb. 10, 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Location: Indi Go Artist Co-op
DoCha/Downtown Champaign Chamber Music invites you to a special fundraising event: Beethoven’s Star-Crossed Lovers: The Art of Passion, benefiting its free, open-to-the-public festival events later this spring. Win brownie-points with your significant other by getting an early start to your Valentine’s Day, while supporting a great cause!
Esteemed musicologist William Kinderman joins the Grammy-winning Pacifica Quartet for an intimate evening of live chamber music and engaging discussion on romance in chamber music.
Portrait photographer Laura Romero of Everyday Charming Image Boutique will design the sentimental, yet chic atmosphere with her debut of Paper Locket – A Photographic Collection at the downtown art gallery, Indi Go Artist Co-op, DoCha’s venue sponsor for this event.
Sparkling wine and delicious desserts created by pastry chef Lindsey Spoden of Silvercreek Restaurant will be offered, as well as tempting hors d’oeuvres prepared by chef Scott Shell of Radio Maria.
Mingle with the artists over bubbly following their performance and bid on unique and valuable items in a silent auction, including VIP seats for the 2011 DoCha festival and a professional portrait session with Laura Romero of Everyday Charming Image Boutique.
Space is limited in this intimate venue, so reserve your tickets online now!
