URBANA – City council members voted unanimously Monday night to execute contracts with the Illinois Department of Transportation, the city of Champaign and Champaign County for the design of Olympian Drive.
The council also unanimously approved amending the city’s budget to include $5 million for the project design.
Council members also expressed a need to study improvements to Lincoln Avenue, but the source of money for that design work is not yet known.
