HELP NEEDED!
Created under the Obama Administration’s stimulus bill, the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) has made billions of dollars available for broadband projects across the nation. The cities of Urbana and Champaign are working together along with the University of Illinois on a grant proposal called UC2B (Urbana Champaign Big Broadband). As a part of this proposal, we have created a survey which will help us collect some of the data that we need.
You can help bring money, jobs and technology to our community.
From Wednesday July 29, through Saturday August 1st we will be going door to door in local Champaign Urbana neighborhoods conducting interviews about technology use. Your help is needed. Shifts are from 9-11 a.m., 1-4 p.m., and 5-7 p.m. Any time you have to give will help us gather data to submit for the grant.
