We’ll be joined on today’s show by Ana Vieira of Friends Against Children’s Empty Tummies (FACET) and Andrea Rundell, Director of Programming for the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. We’ll discuss hunger in our region and how these organizations are working with limited resources to provide food for families in need. September is Hunger Action Month, so we will talk about the activities we can all do to help. In particular, we’ll talk about FACET’s upcoming fundraising events next week which include a raffle and an art show.
