Psychic Joker Entertainment has put together ten full days of magic and mystery, to be presented at SoDo Theatre in downtown Champaign starting this Friday, October 21 and running through Halloween Night.
The fun begins this Friday night with a magic showcase featuring a number of top-notch local magicians and entertainers. Saturday night is a haunted tea party, while Sunday brings an actual ghost hunter to take guests on their own journey to explore the paranormal.
The week continues with a number of themed parties, movie marathons, and even a poetry night featuring the works of Edgar Allan Poe. (People interested in reading that night ― Wednesday, October 26 ― should contact Lisa to arrange.)
Friday the 28th is a comedy-mentalism show featuring psychic entertainer Stefan Alexxis. Saturday, October 29th, come see a live staged radio drama, and come back as a zombie on Sunday the 30th to hang out and watch Night of the Living Dead. The celebration concludes on Halloween night with an authentic Houdini seance; will our psychic be able to make contact with the late Harry Houdini? You’ll have to come and find out!
Doors open for all events at 10:00 p.m.; events begin at 10:30. Most events are $5 or less, with the exception of the Houdini seance, for which limited-seating tickets cost $20.
