Boneyard Creek Community Day organizers are seeking volunteers to help clean-up the waterway. Clean-up day is scheduled for Saturday, April 14, from 9 a.m. – noon.
Join hundreds of volunteers working to protect local creeks and lakes to ensure a healthier community. Volunteers pick-up litter, remove non-native plants, and install storm drain medallions.
“The Anita Purves Nature Center crew will have part of the group collecting garlic mustard from along the stream corridor as well as removing debris,” said Mike Davis, Urbana Park District Natural Areas Technician.
