When movie theaters make the transition to digital, officially in 2013, there stands to be a drop off in classic cinemas that simply can’t afford to buy the new required equipment. Drive-in theaters will likely top that list.
Here is Central Illinois, we only have just a handful left. The nearest one to us, Harvest Moon Drive-In, is on a mission to raise enough capital to be able to purchase the $150,000 in new technology that will be required to update their system.
