With the coaching shakeups taking place after Ron Zook’s firing, and all the controversy and belly-aching regarding the hiring of Tim Beckman, I heard not a single fan or commentator say that they wanted a change in the defensive coordinator position.
Sorry, Illini Nation: it happened anyway. Seems likely that Koenning will end up at Auburn. Fans down there will likely need to learn to say “War Daggum Eagle,” as Mr. Koenning eschews profanity.
