From the director of Shaun of the Dead and boasting a great cast (Michael Cera, Jason Schwartzmann, Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick, Chris Evans), SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD is a novel, visually stunning, and moving film that has built up a major cult audience since it vanished from theaters, a victim of bad marketing.
Meet charming and jobless Scott Pilgrim (Cera). A bass guitarist for garage band Sex Bob-omb, the 22-year-old has just met the girl of his dreams, Romana Flowers. The only catch? Her seven evil exes are coming to kill him.
Also in the super fun category: The Art will have an old, fully-operational TV-game & video game system for you to play in the lobby! Plus, the drink special (you know you could drink at The Art, right?) will be the “Scott Pilgrim Doesn’t Drink,” also known as a gin & tonic. (You’ll get it after you see the movie.)
