Urbana school district offering summer breakfast and lunch to all children 18 and under
Urbana School District #116 will offer free summer meals during June at several schools as part of the Seamless Summer Food program sponsored by the federal government. The meals will be offered at Urbana High School, Urbana Middle School, Prairie Elementary, King Elementary, and Yankee Ridge Elementary during the following times:
Urbana High School
June 3 through June 27; Monday–Thursday only
Breakfast: 8:30–9:00 a.m.
Lunch: 12 noon–12:20 p.m.
Urbana Middle School
June 3 through June 27; Monday–Thursday only
Breakfast: 8:00–8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 12:30–1:00 p.m.
Prairie Elementary School
June 10 through June 27; Monday–Thursday only
Lunch: 12:00 noon–12:30 p.m.
King Elementary School
June 10 through June 27; Monday–Thursday only
Lunch: 12:15–12:45 p.m.
Yankee Ridge Elementary School
June 3 through June 27; Monday–Thursday only
Breakfast: 8:30–8:45 a.m.
Lunch: 12 noon–12:20 p.m.
Free meals will be made available to all children 18 years of age and under. Free meals are made available to all eligible participants without regard to race, color, national origin, disability, sex, or age.
