The Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company will present A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum this Thursday through Sunday, October 17-20.
From the CUTC website: “Broadway’s greatest farce is light, fast-paced, witty, irreverent and one of the funniest musicals ever written. A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum takes comedy back to its roots, combining situations from time-tested, 2000-year-old comedies of Roman playwright Plautus with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville.”
The CUTC site goes on to guarantee that Forum will be a “non-stop laugh-fest” under the direction of Matt Fear.
The show will be presented at Parkland College Theatre, and tickets may be purchased here.
