From a Krannert press release:
On November 1, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., there will be pop-up art events all over th U of I campus. Krannert Center Ambassadors—a student-run marketing and outreach team that furthers the symbiotic relationship between Krannert Center and the University of Illinois students—proudly present “Push 4 Art.” The event is intended to cultivate awareness of the importance of performing arts in the lives of students. Through this unique experience—where the viewer needs to push for art in order for it to happen—students are surprised by performances popping out of the crowd showing not only the need for art advocacy but also a display of quality resident productions put on by students they sit next to every week in their gen ed classes.
We here are Smile Politely can neither confirm nor deny the intended locations of these pop-up performances. It’s likely you’ll know it when you see it.
