On Tuesday, November 19, the Station Theatre will continue its “Dark Night at the Theatre” series with the latest installment in the Words in the Wind reading series.
For those unfamiliar with either program: The Station frequently utilizes its off (or “dark” nights) to present alternative programming such as readings of original plays. Words in the Wind, now in its fifth iteration, is a “book concert” with local actors reading children’s stories in a concert setting. While the material being presented is decidedly “kids’ stuff,” the concert is meant mostly for adults and older children.
Among the participants this time around are Station vets Kay Bohannon Holley and David Butler (pictured below).
The concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Station Theatre. All donations will go to the WILL Book Mentor Project, which provides books for local preschoolers.
