2014 Brain Fitness Fair coming to Lincoln Square

Sudoku. Board games. Brain teasers. Finding different ways to exercise and stimulate your brain has become a popular trend. But how can you tell if your brain fitness program is paying off?

You can find out this spring by attending and participating in the first annual 2014 Brain Fitness Fair on Saturday, April 12, 2014, in Lincoln Square Mall, presented by Active Seniors’ Options, Inc., based in Savoy, Illinois.

The Brain Fitness Fair is an educational event featuring experts and resources in all aspects of cognitive wellness, including physical, mental, environmental, social, economic, educational, and spiritual. Sponsored by Dr. G’s BrainWorks, the Brain Fitness Store & More, and other businesses and organizations, the fair will include a variety of exhibits and demonstrations supporting wellness and successful aging.

“We are excited to bring this fair to the Champaign County area,” said Dr. William Gingold, Board President of Active Seniors’ Options and the Dr. G’s BrainWorks store. “The Brain Fitness Fair is the perfect opportunity for adults of all ages to assess current brain fitness and learn ways to support and enhance their cognitive health.”

Taking a “passport to wellness” approach, attendees will be able to explore different areas of cognitive functionality and participate in a variety of brain fitness screenings and assessments.

The 2014 Brain Fitness Fair will be held on Saturday, April 12th, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Lincoln Square Mall, Urbana, Illinois. For more information and exhibitor/sponsorship opportunities, visit www.BrainFitnessFairs.org, or contact Joy McClaugherty at joymcclaugherty@ymail.com.
