By way of a public service announcement, I would like to suggest strongly that, if you enjoy having an automobile with four working tires and all its undercarriage bits and bobs in place, you might want to avoid the stretch of Windsor Road between Lincoln Avenue and Philo Road for a little while.
No disrespect to the fine folks who tend our roads. I know it’s balls-cold out there, and you can only do what you can do. So, I speak to the drivers.
Should you be unable to avoid driving on this particular moonscape, please use caution and slow down. Oh, and the pocketa-pocketa-pocketa sound you hear is not a would-be assassin strafing you with bullets from an old-timey machine gun. It’s just the sound of tires falling momentarily out of view. The sound cars make when they’re afraid.
