Next Thursday, February 27th, Krannert Art Museum will be hosting an artist presentation featuring Guerrilla Girl founding member, Frida Kahlo.
Formed in New York City in 1985, the Guerrilla Girls are well known activists in the art world, fighting to end sexism and racism.
Krannert Art Museum has featured a Guerrilla Girl exhibit for about a month now. Thursday, Kahlo will present “Not Ready to Make Nice: 28 Years of the Guerrilla Girls”. The presentation starts at 7 p.m. in the KAM auditorium.
An “informal gallery conversation” with Kahlo will take place at 2 p.m. in the museum’s East Gallery.
