I’ve been wanting to write, for a long time, that Tim Beckman is not the hapless goober he seems to be. And the truth is, I believe it. I think he’s a lot smarter than he appears.
Oh, but he makes it hard.
At minute 24 of this press conference, in response to a question from the Sun-Times‘s Steve Greenberg, Beckman says “our numbers speak for themselfs.”
He is so right about that.
