MONTICELLO, Ill. — Chambanamoms.com and Allerton Park are excited to announce that one of the nation’s top family musicians, Justin Roberts and his band, the Not Ready for Naptime Players, will return to Central Illinois for two concerts on May 4.
Singing and dancing are not only encouraged, it will be contagious!
The Chambanamoms.com Children’s Concert at Allerton shows will start at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; each set will last approximately one hour. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids (any age), and everyone must have a ticket.

“After the success of the U of I Employees Credit Union Concerts at Allerton Park last year, we knew we wanted to offer even more performances this season. We are excited to host our first annual Children’s Concert with Chambanamoms.com. It has been great partnering with them and several community sponsors to bring Justin Roberts here for this exciting morning and afternoon,” said Derek Peterson, associate director for park operations.
The event will also include a community expo and fun children’s activities (including a bounce house!) starting one hour before each show. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase, but picnics are encouraged and tables will be available. There will be door prizes with great items from the event sponsors.
This event will take place in the Allerton Barn on the southeast corner of the Park, rain or shine.
Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players last performed in Champaign in 2011, at a concert also organized by chambanamoms.com.
