The Made Fest is back for its second year and Dear Home will be setting up shop! This year, the fest is TWO days. Yep, a two-day, outdoor curated marketplace featuring handmade artists, makers, and vintage sellers. Right here in Champaign.
Last year we brought you a mix of vintage goodies. This year, we’re super excited to debut The Cabin Collection — a curated set of vintage rustic items inspired by the great outdoors. The collection includes wool blankets, military bags, macrame, barware, globes and much, much more. As always, you can expect affordable, one-of-a-kind items with a lot of history. I love giving old pieces a new home!
Dear Home will also have a selection of new handmade items including our line of handmade vintage notebooks we debuted a few weeks ago at the Urban Outfitters Marketplace. The notebooks are made with discarded library books that were too damaged to stay on the shelves, and each one is unique using beautifully illustrated pages for the cover.
So mark your calendars, and stop on by The Made Fest this Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th from 12-6 p.m. at Main and Market in Downtown Champaign, IL.
