CENTER CITY TROLLEY RIDES SATURDAYS IN DECEMBER
The Champaign Center Partnership is excited to partner with the Champaign Park District to bring trolley rides to Center City!
Catch the Park District trolley every Saturday in December before Christmas and enjoy a free ride through Downtown, Midtown and Campustown. Free hot chocolate and cookies will be given to riders before they board the trolley and local performers will entertain throughout the ride.
“We wanted to provide a fun activity that would encourage families to explore this area of Champaign together,” Champaign Center Partnership Executive Director, Erin Lippitz said. “Taking the trolley through each of our districts will hopefully show the riders places and businesses they’ve never noticed or been to before. And we hope they go back after the trolley ride.”
The Center City Trolley Rides will take place on Saturday, December 6th, 13th and 20th from 3 to 5 pm. Trolley pick up and drop off will be in the parking lot in front of the Orpheum Children’s Museum.
The trolley rides are sponsored by the Champaign Park District.
